Speckledkit frowned in dismay at her sister's anguish as they wandered aimlessly along The Gorge. Letting out a wail of frustration at her own helplessness, Speckledkit kicked a random stone off the edge and watched with minimal interest as it plummeted to the waters below.

Speckledkit stared at Woodedkit, wondering what had disturbed her. "Wha--" She interrupted her own mew when she realized just how far down the water was. Speckledkit let out a shriek and fell over her own feet, desperately scrambling to get away from that ledge. "Since when were we so high up!?" She whimpered to her similarly startled companion.
-
"Yeah, when you got stuck up in that tree that one time...", Speckledkit muttered. Noticing the hopeless expression on her sister's face, she padded over to Woodedkit and licked her ear halfheartedly. "Please, don't give up now just because of some silly fear. We're almost there, honest..." Stepping back, Speckledkit had a sudden feeling of confidence and determination penetrate her weariness as she placed her tail firmly on Woodedkit's shoulder. She then proceeded to continue on the path they had set for themselves.

Name: Selina
Gender: Female
Age(yrs): 5 months
Rank: Pup
Appearance(Pic if ok): (I don't know how to submit pictures yet, I'm pretty new on the site) Selina has a silver coat of fur and dark markings all over her. Her eyes are a pale aquamarine.
What makes you different: The markings on her body glow the same color as her eyes in moonlight. Also, her mood is always in sync with the weather; Selina is cheery when the sun is out, calm on a cool, clear day, sad on a rainy day, etc..
Other: Selina doesn't know this because this has never happened to her, but if she were to be completely disconnected from the weather (Inside a house, deep within a cave, etc), her mood would be completely unaffected by the weather. Is this OK? Sorry I couldn't get a picture..

This is Selina; I finally figured out how images work. Sorry that it's not that good... I had to draw her because I can't find good drawings of wolf cubs that look like her, and I'm not a very good digital artist.

OOC: Before I get started on my first post, do any of you know what weather the pack is currently experiencing?
-
It doesn't? It showed up on my computer... sorry. I'll just post the link: http://mynameischocolate.deviantart.com/art/Selina-312624310

OOC: Thanks xD Next post will be roleplay.

A bit far from the other wolves in the pack, Selina watched cheerfully from the shade of a tree. The silver wolf cub was indeed in a good mood, but was still shy. Thus, she stayed in a distant but safe proximity of her pack, believing that she was safe from awkward conversations with others.
-
Speckledkit twitched her ear in acknowledgement to her sister's response, but her mind had already wandered off. 'Are we going the right way?' She didn't really remember the gigantic cliff, or the water that it loomed over. 'Then again, it was long time ago. It was possible that I could also have been sleeping when we passed this gorge. Still...' Speckledkit interrupted her thoughts, however, when a strange, yet familiar scent flooded her senses. 'Cats?' Other cats, of course. Cats that ate and had groomed themselves properly, unlike the two kits. She nudged Woodedkit lightly. "Hey... do you smell that?"
-
Selina yawned and dragged herself to her feet. Blinking curiously, she smelled others from her pack, accompanied by other scents, coming from further into the forest. After thinking it through, Selina decided to follow the scent and bounded eagerly out of camp.
-
Selina was close now. Very close. She had slowed down by now, growing anxious as she neared her destination. Peering past the tree she was sitting behind, Selina saw the wolves she had searched for. However, she now realized what the other scents were: Humans. However, these were different, seeming to also have traits of other animals. Eyes glinting in sudden excitement, she gazed at the strange humans, oblivious that she had revealed herself partially by sticking her head past the tree.
-
Selina grew bored of watching the strange humans. Eventually, they just left, so she turned and hurried back to camp; all the other wolves were doing the same. Still, she felt vaguely disappointed. Selina probably would never see them again...
-
Arriving at the pack's territory, Selina lay against the same tree that she had previously sat in front of. As she looked around, she saw that it was quiet; Selina decided that most of the others in the pack were probably sleeping. She dropped her head to her paws as her eyes drooped...
-
Selina forced herself to her paws and glanced to the nursery. Well, she was pretty tired...
OOC: Going to bed, coming back tomorrow... goodnight, everyone.
-
Speckledkit's eyes lit up at the discovery. She squealed, "Sis, do you know what this means?! We really ARE almost there!" Shivering in pure ecstasy in a completely change of moods, she leaped forward to the direction of the scent. "Come on, sis! I get the feeling that today's the day we find them!" Speckledkit shouted jovially.
-
Selina had just awoken when she heard Snowy. Blinking slowly, she looked up at the healer. "Um... no, but thanks anyways." She responded politely. The cub then stared dismally at the sky. Selina mumbled to herself, "It's raining... I hate rain."
